: Engility seeks a Systems Engineer to assist our NAVAIR customer with developing, maintaining and enhancing Electronic Warfare systems and in Aircraft Engineering. The Engineer will:
Provide engineering assessment support and guided engineering development of modern complex systems for the development of weapons systems Formulate practical solutions to engineering problems, develop statements of work and CDRLS for hardware, software and air vehicle systems
Employ systems engineering methods and tools to develop complex weapons systems
Provide engineering inputs to integrated master schedule, test and evaluation plans, systems engineering plans, briefings and white papers.
Develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and manage then in accordance with NAVAIR Systems Engineering processes
Provide technical evaluations, reviewing requirements to changes in aircraft systems/detail specifications and recommending engineering solutions and enhancements
: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in engineering to include prior work with Naval Aviation systems engineering.
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent is required.
Candidate should demonstrate experience with the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process, particularly tailoring of checklists, entrance and exit criteria for design reviews, and coordination with Technical Area Experts.
Demonstrated experience with the NAVAIR acquisition process.
Candidate should also demonstrate experience in working with MIL-STD-1553 Databus message traffic.
Secret or Interim Secret clearance in good standing.
