As we grow, we are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer-Electrical based in any of the following areas: Stennis Space Center, Kiln, or Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.


Conceptualize, design, build, integrate, test, deploy and support next generation airborne remote sensing systems

Evaluates COTS and custom electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs

Drives design for any custom circuitry as needed

Develops integration processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components in both team and independent environments

Coordinating between the technical staff, and clients to assure quality deliverables and research objectives are on schedule and within budget

Develop, manage, and control electrical design including configuration management, meeting various regulatory requirements i.e. ANSI, MILSPEC, FAA, etc. as needed

Active thought leader in new system build sensor engineering

Have a foundational understanding of airborne, surface and seafloor, elevation collection technologies

Have a foundational understanding of embedded software technologies

Maintain system level to technician level understanding of a research to operational system

An interest and growing knowledge of ship to shore delivery systems, client education, airborne lidar bathymetry and related coastal environment technologies

Work with management team to certify and authorize developed technologies

Other duties as assigned


Must have at least 8years’ experience in systems engineering, electrical engineering, engineering trade-studies, design/build engineering

Applicant should have experience with sensitive and controlled information protection

Strong people management, communication skills, and should possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Solid background in managing ground up technical design to build, and engineering technical staff

Drive technical system design, lab design and requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team

Proven ability to take the initiative in finding solutions to complex challenges

Willingness and previous experience in managing and mentoring junior level staff, building a team, and growing a program

Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice
