Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Design and Integration Team.
This opportunity is for an Electrical Integration Systems Engineering role on the Mt Evans program in MilSpace APD. Mt Evans will provide a unique and cutting-edge payload capability on future space vehicles with opportunities to define new SmartSat� applications, interface with vehicle and payload subsystems, solve cross-cutting integration challenges, and to work collaboratively across multiple lines of business and central engineering. The MilSpace APD team environment is dynamic spanning numerous programs, special studies, and classified responsibilities; a self-starter with initiative will be right at home.
As a Systems Engineer for Electrical Integration, you will:
� Work with vehicle instrumentation including test and flight data requirements, sensor and channel database and instrumentation installation definition
� Develop and maintain electrical and logical interface control documents between Mt Evans and the rest of the system
� Support system-level data integration across multiple sites and multiple disciplines for 1) Data validation for flight software certification, 2) Electrical channelization resource management, 3) Telemetry definition, mapping and downlink
� Work with vehicle harnessing to optimally route cabling throughout the space vehicle
� Perform network loading, routing, and latency analysis
� Define packet and circuit switched networks for all types of digital data interfaces
� Perform interface electrical compatibility analysis

� Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or other related discipline or equivalent work experience
� Experience with electrical integration functions
� Experience coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Flight Sciences, Materials, Manufacturing, Test, etc.)
� Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
� Active TS/SCI security clearance
� Experience with telemetry systems, flight operations, and/or electrical design
� 3+ years' engineering experience
� Demonstrated understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
� Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
� Experience with anomaly detection and response CONOPS or algorithms
� Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
� Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
� Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
