Job Description :
Perform as a Configuration Management(CM)/Systems Engineer on the IFG Program. A CM/SE has responsibility to plan, manage and direct the preparation of IFG Change Requests (CRs) from identification of need for change, through the boarding/approval process, up to the point of change implementation.
The CM is accountable to the change board chairperson(s) and to Program Management for timely coordination, integration and analysis of the proposed technical solution and development of a viable implementation strategy for assigned changes to ensure that both customer requirements and Program objectives are met.
This Configuration Management position also supports of supplier configuration management, Supplier Surveillance Reviews, and Functional/Physical (FCA/PCA) Configuration Audits.
The position will require interaction with internal and external customers on supplier CM and audit matters often requiring a coordinated activity across functions. Establish, organize and maintain electronic supplier CM data tracking information.
The Engineer will review and analyze released specifications, VCRMs, engineering documentation, software documentation, configuration management plans, and nameplate requirements ensuring that customer requirements are compliant with IFG CM policies and standards.
Familiar with engineering drawing practices, statement-of-works, statement-of-objectives and requirement documents.
-Bachelor’s degree in an Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field.
-Experience with MS Office.
-Experience with Change Board and/or Change Request or equivalent.
-Experience with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Processes.
-Experience with product drawings.
