Our R&D team is the heart and soul of Manhattan Associates' product portfolio. They design the future of our products ahead of the curve both technically and operationally over our competitors. You will be floating in the cloud, drinking your fair share of Java, and getting creative daily. What's the Big Picture?

Some of the important things you will do in this role:

  • Provide technical support to Manhattan Associates' cloud customers and perform non-functional testing of company products.
  • Provide research and development of new technologies as well as design and architecture support on IT operations projects.
  • Use skills to support all elements of open systems technologies and architecture including Java & JEE technologies, WAN/LAN networks, Windows/Linux/UNIX servers as well as associated applications, network security, data storage and backups, disaster recovery, data center design and performance monitoring.

What's Required of Me?

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
  • 1-year experience providing operational support for mission critical applications
  • 1-year experience with Linux Systems
  • 1-year experience with Python or other shell scripting technology

What Would Make Me Stand Out?

  • Experience with Docker highly desirable
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • RHCE or similar certification preferred
  • Expertise with UNIX Shell languages preferred.
