About this role

You'll be joining the infrastructure team in our Clearwater office, supporting both production and back office environments. You'll be responsible for systems operations administration and management and you'll be working in a varied technical environment. You will also be responsible for maintenance of all monitoring and data protection systems, networking and virtualization equipment integration, and support duties for all relevant technologies and its end-users. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Through prescribed best practices, manage and maintain high-availability of all systems relevant to customers, both internal and external
  • Ensure the integrity of the entire infrastructure by maintaining a proactive security posture against potential threats. Work with security teams to patch and replace any elements deemed necessary by internal or 3rd party risk assessment
  • Conducts moderately complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinates the efforts of external group and vendors in the performance of assigned projects
  • Ability to take on-call responsibilities to remediate after hours issues
  • Provision new services and configuration items to support stability and growth
  • As needed, support local office users as an escalation for complex networking/application issues

What your background looks like

  • Experience is specifically desired with Cisco Call Manager and Networking hardware
  • Cisco Network Device Administration (ASA Firewall, Catalyst Switch)
  • Amazon Web Services (VPC, EC2/ECS/AMI, Docker, RDS/Aurora DB)
  • Linux Administration (RedHat and CentOS preferred)
  • Microsoft Windows Server Administration (2008 and newer)
  • F5 Load Balancer Administration
  • Database (MySQL/MS SQL/Mongo) exposure
  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, information technology operations support, or in a similar field supporting technology infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
