General Purpose:

Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers a small, uniform site alone or assists in the administration of a larger system. (35%)
• Perform detailed analysis of problems, performance and capacity for critical systems and develop appropriate corrective or proactive actions. (30%)
• Develop, Plan and implement changes to production environments. (15%)
• Document system processes, data flows and general design. (10%)
• Actively participates in both formal and informal System Engineer training opportunities. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned (5%)

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-4+ years of experience
