The Finance/Actuarial/Investment team, part of MassMutual's Corporate Technology organization seeks an exceptional and experienced Business Analyst in all phases of the project life cycle (SDLC and Agile). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, more specifically in a Corporate Finance environment.
The candidate will be responsible for soliciting and documenting business requirements, understanding of technical dependencies and helping to envision creative solutions to both business and technical challenges. Candidate must be team oriented and possess excellent written, verbal and communication skills
-Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that could have a short to long term focus
-Works with limited guidance on complex projects
-Works very closely with both business and technical stakeholders
-Looks for and finds way to improve the way we operate the business
-Document requirements (functional and non-functional) and create use cases
-Analyze and decompose business rules
-Assit other team members with understanding the business requirements
-Operates independently on multiple project tasks
-Participate in all phases of project testing
-Facilitate and drive requirements gathering sessions
-Collaborate with business and system experts
-Lead analysis of business processes, procedures, data and rules
-Negotiate and influence requirements direction
-At least 5 years of Business Analysis experience
-Experience with drafting business requirements
-Ability to work in a collaborative environment and can work on multiple assignments at once
-Ability to own and drive business analysis on a projects
-Candidates must be authorized to work in the US
-7-10 years of Business Analysis experience preferred
-Experience with financial services including CFO functions
-Experience with ERP implementations and data related projects
-Perform requirement management planning for large scale projects
-Ability to mentor less experienced staff
-Highly organized and collaborative
-Master's degree in Finance or Accounting or Information Technology
