Position Summary:

Segue Technologies Inc seeks a Systems Analyst with 1 – 2 years or experience. This is a full-time position located in Quantico, VA.

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for working on site with the customer and assist with installing, maintaining, upgrading, and migrating software supporting a large-scale enterprise Department of Defense (DoD) application. The Systems Analyst will also share responsibility for help desk duty specific to the application, new application development support, networksupport and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Systems Administrator in maintaining multiple Windows Server instances
  • Support with installing, maintaining, upgrading, and migrating software
  • Support with implementing STIGs as necessary
  • Conducting routine scans using SCC & ACAS
  • Assisting in deploying software releases
  • Responding to service outages
  • Performing Restart and Recovery Procedures
  • Periodically analyzing the system logs
  • Performing network and interface monitoring, management, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinating with the appropriate organizations to resolve network or related concerns
  • Supporting scheduling, verifying, and storing full system backups
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation for system operations, web server operations, backup and recovery, and system audit plans
  • Documenting all system changes as part of the Change Management process
  • Providing superior customer service
  • On site customer support during normal business hours
  • Web application helpdesk support
  • Additional tasks as required

Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years of technical experience working in a similar role or relevant college degree
  • Willingness and desire to learn in a technical role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Strong client-facing skills with a customer service orientation
  • Must be able to obtain IAT Level II Certification required (CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience administering virtual machines
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Enterprise environments to include Active Directory
  • Knowledge of scripting tools such as Python or Powershell
  • Knowledge of Windows Server registry, local security/group policy
  • Experience working with Oracle databases
  • Experience supporting the United States Marine Corps or other DoD customer
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred
