The Publix Omni-Channel team is growing and we are seeking a Systems Analyst who will play a key role interacting with enterprise teams to define architecture, technical requirements, interfaces, & implementation approaches for in-store commerce solutions.
As a member of the Omni-channel technology team, you will have an opportunity to influence technology architecture & design across enterprise /cross-functional teams, participate in understanding customer/associate feedback to resolve or improve technical issues and develop, own, and drive implementation of the technology roadmap for in-store & Omni-channel commerce solutions.
On this team we are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, design, engineering, planning and problem solving skills as well as strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers and clients.
BS in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years’ experience analyzing complex business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies and scalability.
Minimum of five years designing enterprise class solutions using object oriented analysis and design and design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks.
Minimum of three years’ experience leveraging .NET framework 3.5 or above using ASP.NET and VB.NET/C#
Minimum of three years’ experience with SQL Server 2008
Must have excellent communication skills
Retail experience which encompasses planning and managing all activities associated with delivering Omni-channel solutions in a large-scale distributed enterprise environment using new technologies.
Strong technical understanding of the .NET Framework
Be able to work with minimal supervision within a large corporate environment
