The role of System Analyst III will you may serve as both a first point of contact and an escalated point of contact for issues and questions from users related to the application(s) you support. You will be responsible for reviewing incoming incidents, perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting to deliver remediation. When needed, you will act as a liaison between the application vendor and the departments utilizing the applications as well as an internal business partners. In addition, you will work with a team to implement and maintain various applications and will work towards becoming the subject matter expert in the applications configuration and upgrades.
On a rotating shift basis, you will be expected to provide 24/7 support to triage or resolve incoming incidents.
Minimum Supervision – employee will work independently under broad instructions or directions and work is typically reviewed as completed. Employees will work from broad instructions and will participate in setting work objectives and managing their workload.
Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail). Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
Work is based on application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
