Position Information
At Wake AHEC, the Systems Analyst II will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications, business processes and systems support.   Will be responsible for taking a lead role in ensuring application and performance improvement areas within Wake AHEC technology-based functions.   Ensures quality by accurately analyzing issues and proposed change(s), efficiently completing testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring all in-house and third party application programs to ensure optimal performance.  Stays abreast of latest changes in technology and recommends upgrades and reprogramming to ensure optimal use of NC AHEC and Wake AHEC applications. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.



Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 (five) years of experiencerequired in the following areas:   Web developer in ASP (including Classic ASP); Scriptinglanguages - Javascript, VBScript, and HTML; Microsoft environment - IIS and .NET; Microsoft SQL databases and queries. Experience with gathering functional requirements from customers and working directly with functional and technical customers on developing and testing web applications preferred.  Experience with Microsoft Access preferred.

EducationRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science -or- related field required.  In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience may be considered.
