Job Description

Currently, RG is building a candidate pool of qualified individuals to perform as Systems Analyst II to provide comprehensive analysis related to Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPS) for a DoD client as future needs arise. Candidates may be contacted in advance of a position becoming available. This role will be critical in ensuring the delivery of the customer's specific tasking to provide effective and efficient global solutions to Warfighters and their other valued customers. The primary objective of this work is to implement this Customer's vision to develop and automate various business processes and systems.


A Day in the Life:

The candidate serves as a Systems Analyst assigned to one or more Task Orders. This person will have direct, daily interaction with Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Specifically, this candidate analyzes and comprehends this customer's business process improvement requirements and translates these into IT solution requirements. They decompose these into detailed IT functional, non-functional, technical and lifecycle requirements. Finally, they analyze IT Requirements to develop Course of Action (CoA) Evaluation criteria. Through their extensive experience, they provide Customer managers access to Commercial practices.


How You Can Make A Difference:

This role plays an important and vital part in mission success. The ideal candidate will:

  • Develop elicitation questionnaires from CoA Evaluation criteria to facilitate market research
  • Analyze Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications, and score them against different CoA criteria
  • Decompose Information Assets and develop Data Models
  • Collaborate directly with SMEs to understand and articulate System-to-System interfaces, data exchange requirements, web services requirements, capturing these in the Service Reference Model
  • Provide targeted and cost-effective method of aligning required skillsets to TOs based on the scope and complexity

Required Skills

A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

  • One of the following education/experience combinations:
  • MA/MS/MBA AND 5+ years relevant BA experience
  • BA/BS AND 7+ years of relevant BA experience
  • Expert relevant knowledge of ERPS
  • Expert relevant experience with ERPS
  • Ability to work throughout the DC Metro area with primary work locations anticipated in Alexandria, VA & Andrews AFB, MD
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)

  • MA/MS with IT focus from an accredited institution
  • DoDI 5000.75 experience
  • PMI certifications (PMP, PMI-PBA)
  • CBAP/CCBA certification from the IIBA
  • Agile certification
  • Relevant certifications from architecture best practice organizations (i.e. Open Group)
  • Willing to travel based on future project demands
  • Current security clearance
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (iterative, waterfall, agile)
  • Experience with requirements project planning and estimating
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • DoD DAU Certifications
  • Project Planning and Execution (planning and preparation of schedules, risks, and issue mitigation, and the analysis of financial execution against program goals)
  • Plans and Strategies (acquisition strategies, cost and requirements trade off COA's)
  • Substantial experience with DoD and AF processes
  • Substantial experience commercial industry best practices experience
