Job Summary 

Express is looking for an energetic team player who is not afraid to wear multiple hats, roll up their sleeves, and get dirty. This opportunity is for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team supporting the entire product supply chain from product conception to receipt in the distribution center.  You will be responsible for support and administration of the Bamboo Rose application. This individual will proactively maintain and monitor all aspects of the system including tech packs, sample management, purchase order management and logistics. In addition, the Bamboo Rose administrator will work collaboratively with the business users to troubleshoot issues and make updates.  We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and a solid technical foundation who is not afraid to tackle a challenge.  



Essential Tasks


  • Install upgrades and fix packs for Bamboo Rose
  • Create, change and modify user accounts in the system
  • Maintain support table data such as freight rates and HTS codes
  • Prepare and execute unit/system test scripts to verify business logic of new or modified programs and mitigate post implementation failures
  • Assist in implementing any necessary process changes as driven by business decisions for Bamboo Rose and its supporting systems
  • Document and maintain Express specific training documentation
  • Provide user training for new and ongoing processes for Bamboo Rose
  • For steady state support - provide on-going, in-house consulting support and expertise (training and related materials, trouble shooting, testing, etc) around Bamboo Rose and its supporting systems
  • Able to work independently in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Perform and manage regular Product Advisory meetings with the business
  • Analyze, evaluate system controls and perform regular audits of data entry & process
  • Maintains positive attitude and momentum in challenging situations
  • Should be team player, with ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Communicates effectively with all partners including 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Participate in 24x7 on-callsupport activities
  • Other essential tasks may occur as directed by your supervisor


Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Hands on coding in PL SQL, Java, Shell scripts
  • Good technical knowledge of Redhat Linux implementations
  • Experience administering PLM systems: 4-5 years


Work Experience & Education:

  • 4 yearBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with 5+ year’s retailexperience in a variety of roles
  • Experience in PLM implementations
  • Experience with Distributed architectures
  • Experience with PL SQL: 2-3 years
  • Experience in Java development with Operating System level scripting tools like Shell scripts: 2-3 years
  • Experience with Redhat Linux Operating System RHEL6 and RHEL 7
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat 7 or related versions

  • Technical knowledge of TradeStone/Bamboo Rose PLM systems
  • Functional understanding of TradeStone/Bamboo Rose PLM systems
  • Knowledge of Yunique PLM
  • Knowledge of retail industry - understand design-to-market flow of a product and the related systems; understand retail math
