Systems Administrator (Mid-level) at Tecolote Research, Inc. in Arlington, VA

Education Required:Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in computer science, management information systems, math or engineering.Skills Required:The ideal candidate will be a bright, energetic, customer service oriented IT professional with preferably 3-5+ years of experience in computer systems administration, possess strong time and project management skills, current knowledge of NIST standards, practices and support infrastructures (security, LAN/WAN architectures and system protocols).

• Windows 2019 R2 Servers, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is required
• SQL and IIS experience is desired
• Active DoD security clearance is required
• US Citizenship is required
• Current Comptia+ network+ certification desired

Responsibilities:This position will collaborate with other system administrators and software developers in the design and resolution of system issues. Responsibilities include:

• Microsoft Windows Server administration in a virtual environment
• Configure and maintain SCCM, develop compliance and security policy
• Support project management, support reporting and other administrative requirements
