The systems administration encompasses network and server administration. The systems administrator’s responsibilities include: implementation of baseline changes and respond to change requests; perform technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting for all supported servers; build servers by providing technical configuration, setup, installation services, hardware and coordination of application projects; and operate and maintain servers.
1. Demonstrated training and/or on-the-job experience in deploying, automating and using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies, including AWS Command Line Interface (AWSCLI), AWS SDKs, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), CloudFormation, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), or Cloud Watch.
2. Demonstrated experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting web and application servers such as Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.
3. Demonstrated experience with Oracle, MySQL, and deploying and operating Linux (e.g. CentOS 6.x) variants in a cloud environment to include implementation of Linux baseline changes (e.g. patching).
4. Demonstratedexperience learning new commercial off the shelf (COTS) and customer developed software applications.
A TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
