Responsible for all aspects of developing, implementing and sustaining the telecommunications infrastructure within the organization. Manages global telecommunication services throughout the System including digital PBX systems, VoIP systems, electronic key systems, voice mail systems, voice paging systems, common carrier services, inter-connect carrier services, voice/data integration technologies, videoconferencing systems and wireless services.
Must be a self–starter and possess the ability to organize work and demonstrate good analytical ability. Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and feel comfortable presenting information to large audiences. Must possess significant experience in project management, implementation and project tracking. Proven ability to work effectively with vendors in managing installation of hardware, software, equipment. Must possess a well-rounded background in telecommunications with a strong background in the technical aspects of managing large, complex voice infrastructure and communication systems. Knowledge about governmental regulations and tariffs, vendor negotiation and contracting.
Bachelor Degree in business management or related field with at least 5 years supervisory role with knowledge and experience in telecommunications; or high school education with 8 years of experience in telecommunications environment. Must have experience in working with large, complex organizations to support customers, staff, management and the public
