The Core OS Power Management Software team is looking for an extraordinary software engineer to lead, design and implement new system power and battery management algorithms. Our battery operatedmobile systems are ever more powerful and running under extremely tight power delivery constraints. In this unique and highly visible role, you will be at the center of system power management algorithm design efforts,working with multiple battery, hardware and software teams, leading the design and optimization of your algorithms. Your goal will be to let the system use max possible performance under tight power delivery constraints and without compromising battery life. You will explore novel system power and battery management software algorithms and ship them into our products. The influence of the proposed innovations will span across systemarchitecture, hardware, kernel driver design,firmware, and global system behavior, striving to satisfy both word class system performance and battery constraints at the same time.
