Job Description:

  • Min 5 - 7year of exp

Overview:

  • In this position, others define and select the pumps, valves, cylinders and other major hydraulic components, and it is the responsibility of this engineer to connect the major components together without compromising system performance. 
  • At the same time the overall system must be easy to assemble and cost efficient. 
  • The engineering disciplines applicable include fluid mechanics, kinematics, machine design, strength of materials, structural fatigue, noise/vibration/harshness(NVH), and heat transfer. 
  • The type of component-level design in scope includes, tube/hose design, tube/hose complex routing, simple fabricated steel structures, component mounting systems, and non-metallic components. 
  • A majority of the work involves routing tubes and hoses to meet all requirements, followed by overseeing the process of creating the related detailed drawings and releasing the drawings for production implementation. 
  • Office setting with possiblity for occassional visits to the shop.

Primary Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required with 5 to 7years engineeringexperience. The ideal candidates will have the degree and experience, however, if this candidate cannot be obtained the work director is willing to accept a recent engineering graduate with relevant Creo experience (from classes or internships), good grades, internships, and leadership experience. 
  • Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, required. Hydraulicexperiencerequired. 
  • Recent minimum of six months of experience with PTC Creo required. 

Differentiating Factor:

  • The ideal candidates will have the degree and experience, however, if this candidate cannot be obtained the work director is willing to accept a recent engineering graduate with relevant Creo experience (from classes or internships), good grades, internships, and leadership experience.
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
  • Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
  • Recent minimum of six months of experience with PTC Creo required.

Secondary Skills:

  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineeringrequired with five to seven years of engineeringexperience. Skills and Competencies
