THE OPPORTUNITY

Inphi is seeking a System Engineer with a mixed of HW/FW/SW background in our Communication System Hardwaregroup. The qualified candidate will work with a team of multi-disciplined, energetic and technically sound engineers to develop broad-level subsystem to evaluate, validate & serve as reference design of Inphi's high-speed analog mixed-signal DSP chips.

Requirements:

  • MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering, 8 or more-year experience in data communication system development and optimization.
  • A mixed of HW /FW /SW experience. Having strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python a major plus.
  • Experienced with high-speed PCB design and familiar with PCB design process
  • Knowledge of DSP communication theory and data networking physical layer spec and requirements. Motivated to interact closely with DSP system team and further enhance signal processing knowledge base & skills
  • Work closely with analog/digital/System DSP teams to develop evaluation, validation and reference design platforms with Inphi chips.
  • Detailed, working knowledge of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, BERTs, etc.) and solid lab techniques.
  • Exhibit good teamwork and collaborative attitude and work closely with Hardware and Software design teams to root-cause issues and provide robust solutions.
