System Director of Professional Outreach
Physician Liaison Dir Professional Outreach The Director of Professional Outreach isresponsible for achieving growth for hospital-specific service lines that are in alignment with the Division and Market Strategy. Under direction of the Hospital CEO, the DPO will develop and implement plans of action for determining and achieving physician satisfaction with the hospital and its departments through open dialogue and in-person visits with both affiliated and non-affiliated physicians in the assigned service area. In collaboration with the Hospital CEO, evaluate, analyze, and interpret marketutilization data for assigned hospital services ensuring that priorities and opportunities are identified. Develop strategies to grow programs/service lines, as identified in the hospitalâ€™s strategic plan. Work with both PhysicianRecruitment and Marketing in the successfulonboarding of new hospital physicians. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up and hosting activities to introduce the physician to the community.In collaboration with the Hospital Marketing Team, promote differentiating services to community physicians to ensure they understand the clinical advantages of our facilities. Complete face-to-face meetings with identified physicians and referral sources on a routine basis ensuring that external andinternal obstacles to business growth andretention are identified and minimized or eliminated (minimum of 75% of time spent in field). Prepare and present monthlyreports; identifying trends, additional business opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth. Present and gain support and commitment from Hospital Leadership, Service Line Leaders, Facility Leaders, and Medical Staff, as needed, for the outreach plan.
Bachelorâ€™s degree in business, healthcare administration or marketing from an accredited college or university. Masterâ€™s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred. Requires a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in healthcare, preferably in marketing or business development. Clinical and/or sales background desired.
