The Corporate Enterprise Tools (CET) stack is made up of multiple teams of developers that work on projects handling customer communications. These communications can include contracts, financial statements, bills, letters, and checks, and can come from business areas across the enterprise. The teams’ work includes things like: source to target mapping and event creation, strategic document generation and output management, and automated electronic workflow and records management.

To help us achieve our mission, we are hiring a Systems Initiative Lead to work across the CET stack supporting the CET teams and the project teams we work with. This position requires the ability to facilitate and enable solutions in partnership with the technical team, business partners, and project teams.


  • Work with users, partners, and cross functional teams to provide project support, resolve questions, assess needs, and recommend changes; sought as a key resource for resolution of unique or complex business problems
  • Triage incoming demand and help projects get ready for developers
  • Coordinate technical integration across tracks of work
  • Assist with creating and providing high-level estimates for project planning
  • Translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
  • Raise risks and issues and serve as a technical point of escalation
  • Ensure all deliverables (oftentimes complex/interdisciplinary/interlinked) are clearly specified, scoped and agreed to between the project team and our internal CET team(s)
  • Remove barriers to enable the project team to complete objectives; drive and influence decisions
  • Promote the usage of strategic patterns and reduction of legacy technology
  • Drive designs to ensure they align with the architectural roadmap and can be adhered to within project schedule and budget
  • Assist the developers in the overall design across CET systems; identify gaps, problems and dependencies between individual designs and systems
  • Provide input to overall test strategy
  • Operate independently on multiple project tasks and complexities
  • Identify improvement opportunities and address them

Basic Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business analyst, project management, or similar role
  • Capable of leading technical teams to implement broad scope projects
  • Skilled in problem solving and technical analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective relationship building skills
  • Ability to influence peers, leaders and business customers
  • Collaborative team player focused on achieving personal accomplishments through making those around you successful
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance industry
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in the customer correspondence industry
  • Knowledge or experience with event management solutions and tools using the publish-subscribe framework
  • Knowledge or experience with imaging solutions and content management tools like FileNet P8
  • Knowledge or experience with print solutions and output management tools like Emtex and the xPression suite
  • Experience supporting Project Managers by coordinating cross-function technical teams
  • Experience, or working knowledge, of Financial Service / Life Insurance concepts and business data
  • Experience working with Agile development processes and methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
  • Technical Lead experience
