You will be member of a team contributing to two or more of the following areas:
Design Low Power Digital Signal Processing chain for Sensors
Design and optimize innovative Mixed-Signal Architectures for MEMS sensor systems
Define and manage block level specifications derived from system level specifications.
Analyze closed loop systems to understand and optimize noise, distortion and stability performance,
Derive specifications for ADC & DAC.
Architect closed loop control systems for auto-calibrating and regulating sensor parameters.
Interface to the digital design, analog/mixed-signal design and product validation teams.
Develop System C models and/or Matlab for system modeling
Implement system models for joint verification of MEMS and mixed-signal IP using Matlab and/or Cadence.
Define algorithms in support production calibration of sensors (MMSE, Iterative methods).
Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Qualifications and Education:
MS/PhD in EE or equivalent field
Preferred4years’ experience, with 2years in Mixed Signal architectures, or MEMS sensors
Experience in developing and implementing hardware algorithms for signal processing OR control (e.g. Sensors control, receivers, transmitters, PLL’s, AGC, DC offset cancellation, etc…)
Experience developing micro architectures supporting low power operation
Knowledge of Sigma Delta converters and PLL subsystems (preferred)
Experience contributing to complex, mixed-signal architectures through all phases of development
Goal-oriented, self-driven individual with strong focus on first principles who works well with multi-disciplinary teams
