We are hiring for a successful, locally headquartered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of online products that support corporations of all sizes with automation of core business processes. The proprietary software products are created in-house so customers benefit from the domain knowledge of the team in crafting solutions that grow with your needs. The team uses the most current and established Microsoft development tools to build and integrate software solutions for their customers and so rely heavily on a full-integrated Microsoft stack on the infrastructure side as well. The company has a stable and successful core of leadership and has a sustained customer base that relies on their online products every day. Because it is a small company, there are lots of benefits to working with a team that feels like family, and lots of opportunity for growth of the product-set.



Proactively research, implement, and configure new technologies, applications, and processes, including:

o  Microsoft System Center products (SCCM, SCOM, and VMM)

o  Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization

o  Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory

o  Windows Servers

o  Windows Failover Clusters

o  TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SMTP, FTP/SFTP, POP3 and server load balancing

Develop and manage server, storage, and applications

Conduct securityaudits and produce a weekly report of vulnerabilities

Assist in capacity planning for server and storage resources

Provide regular management reports and recommendations regarding capacity planning for resources within the position's scope of responsibility

Evaluate new technologies/tools for testing and installation of new Windows Server systems hardware/software

Assist with establishing, documenting, and maintaining technical standards, policies, and procedures

Collect, monitor, and analyze system performance data

Proactively research, document, and resolve highly technical IT Infrastructure issues

Conduct performance tuning, ensure the high availability and redundancy of systems

Conduct periodic penetration tests of production web-farms

Conduct periodic evaluation of in-house developed software for potential security weaknesses

Maintain the Active Directory structure and all interrelated authentication systems, including the administration of user accounts, shared resources and access permissions

Fine tune group policy objects

Manage clustered multi-tiered SFTP Server

Help maintain and administer networking infrastructure (e.g., firewall appliances, core switches, Wi-Fi AP’s)

Complete and assist in completion of server-related incidents in a timely manner (according to the defined SLAs)

Administer Microsoft System Center products (SCCM, SCOM, and VMM)

Setup, design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization environment

Create, manage, and maintain virtual machines hosting mission-critical data and services

Perform hardware setup, software installation/configuration and the day-to-day administration of Microsoft operating systems and related services (e.g., Exchange, IIS, MS-SQL)

Perform production operations support including checking daily logs, backup/recovery procedures, disaster recovery, and periodic maintenance

Perform on-going performance and operations management to ensure the smooth operation and overall efficiency of the Windows Server environment, including upgrades, patches, managing and monitoring system and application backups, performance monitoring and notification tools

Maintain and administer e-mail archive system

Maintain Microsoft Exchange & SpamTitan Clustered SMTP Gateway

Build Windows Servers for development, certification and production environments

Provide timely and effective on-callsupport for computing infrastructure including Web Servers, Application Servers, Exchange Servers and User Community

Provide end user support through Axosoft OnTime Support Incidents ticketing system (Desktop issues, Phone issues, Server and DatabaseSupport)

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required

Other duties as assigned



Prior experience with a demonstrated career advancement

Experience working in a high availability, high security environment is strongly preferred

Business work experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and an understanding of Active Directory and its function

Administration, Maintenance and Configuration of Windows Failover Clusters

Exposure or theoretical knowledge of vulnerability scans and assessments as well as computer forensics

Ability to interpret information security data and processes to identify potential compliance issues

Ability to quickly understand security systems in order to identify and validatesecurity requirements

Academic and/or practical background in security of information systems or computer forensics

2+ years business work experience with Microsoft Exchange

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer security, management information systems, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Familiarity with Dell, EMC, Foundry /Brocade, WatchGuard, F5 and Cisco hardware

Command line and remote administration

Familiarity with load-balanced highly available multi-level application service architecture

Microsoft Windows Servers administration

Storage environment management

Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SMTP, FTP/SFTP, POP3 and server load balancing knowledge

Exchange administration and management

Email and file archive management

Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization administration, maintenance, and management

Mobile Device Management

Microsoft Terminal Services configuration, administration, and troubleshooting

Remote Desktop Software, VPN

Backup and restore methodologies
