EOIRTechnologies, a Polaris Alpha company, is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide system administration support toWindows and Unix systems including servers,networks and peripheral components. Troubleshoot, repair, monitor the performance and manage multiple computing environments in support of EMARSS Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS). Provides Help Desk support. Performs software installations, system initialization and testing of new software, hardware andnetwork components. Monitors, documents andreports system performance.

Required Skills

3+ years' experience working as a Systems Administrator of Windows or Unix based servers and systems
3+ years' experience using VMWare
Experience using and performing system administrative for Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory and Red Hat Linux
Installs, configures, and troubleshoots computer networks and associated components and provides technical assistance to users
Performs configuration of hardware devices and software components, system back-up, restore, and initialization
Monitors system configuration, server event log, servers, networks and SAN for performance
Possesses knowledge and experience in TCP/IP, information security, user authorization and system administration of Windows and Unix based servers and networks
Participates in the design, installation and administration of local networks using multiple protocols and various computer systems
Installs, upgrades and administers operating systems and application software in multi-user client/server environments
Provides users with network technical support by responding to IT helpdesk issues.
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification a plus
Excellent communications, problem-solving and coordination skills
Single Scope Background Investigation required.
