Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a System Administrator to join their team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Microsoft Office 365 Global Administrator responsible for day to day tier 3support of Office 365 with a focus on managing Exchange, Skype, OneDrive, PowerBI, SharePoint, PowerShell, Office 365 licenses, AD, LDAP, and Azure.

  • They will be responsible for maintaining the Office 365 environment for 10,000+ users
  • Provide tier 3troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions and to prevent reoccurrence
  • Manage Office 365 licensing, perform system health monitoring, and maintain a good understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with user change management
  • Assist with the onboarding/offboarding of user emails including creating, modifying, and removing user accounts including shared mailboxes and distribution groups
  • Maintain secure environments, including working with DLP, MFA, and legal holds
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MFA, including helping users set up MFA on their mobile devices as needed
  • Create/modify PowerShell scripts to perform administrative tasks, automation, and other needs as they arise
  • Maintain/troubleshoot issues around Active Directory, LDAP, directory synch, and Azure
  • Consult and assist with efforts to implement and configure Skype for Business, including working with other IT staff on infrastructure requirements and improvements


  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification
  • 3years of experience in supporting Office 365 products
  • Familiar with application monitoring tools and reviewing log files
  • Available on occasion for off hours? emergency support for critical applications
