We are looking for bright ASIC engineers with excellent analytical and technical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team responsible for delivering Snapdragon CPU design, flows for high performance SoCs in sub-7nm process for mobile space. You will be responsible of CPU Implementation, with emphasis in synthesis, timing closure, power analysis and low power optimization.Responsibilities:
Develop constraints, run physical synthesis, low Power checks, timing and power analysis
Create design of experiments and do detailed comparison analysis to improve quality of results
Work closely with RTL design, physical design, low power and automation teams to optimize performance and power
Generate, review and validate design constraints to achieve timing closure of High-speed cores
Tabulate metrics results for analysis comparison
2+ years of experience with Synthesis with Genus, Power analysis with PTPX, STA with Primetime
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
4+ years of experience with CPU micro-architecture and their critical path
4+ years experience with Low power implementation techniques, High speed CPU implementation, and place and route tool experience
4+ years experience with constraint management tool and Verilog coding
4+ years experience with Perl/Tcl scripting
2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.Minimum Qualifications
