Job Overview Qualcomm's Corporate Engineering division in San Diego is looking for a SW and Tools Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing novel test plans and supporting test plans from product tuning in the R&D lab labs through manufacturing and customer support. Candidate will be responsible to develop test tools to control protype devices and collect and analyze test data. Candidate will be responsible for implementing automated test solutions for new hardware designs using a combination of custom test software plus custom hardware with commercial or pre-commercial test equipment. Candidate will also be responsible to develop standalone SW tools to control and monitor prototype devices. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

- 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

- 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications Additional skills in the following areas are a plus: - Multi-threaded desktop application development in C# using Winforms and WPF - Full stack .net development with experience in areas such as ASP.NET, Angular JS, JavaScript, jQuery, MS-SQL and/or relevant technologies - Embedded software development in C or C++ - Test equipment automation, including 4G and 5G cellular and connectivity test boxes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators - RF calibration and RF test automation - New production integration (NPI) and manufacturing processes Education Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, communications, or related field required
