The Global Consumer Marketing organization partners with our Lines of Businesses and Regional/Local Markets to set marketing data, targeting, capabilities logic and messaging strategies that will move our marketing from "sell" to "buy". Position Objective:
The SVP, Global Marketing Operations will support the Head of Global Marketing Operations in the critical areas of operational controls, internal & external team communications, and talent & culture.  This role requires exceptional project management skill and attention to detail, along with high levels of emotional intelligence and strong partnership skills. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong self-motivation, and proven ability to navigate global, matrixed organizations and execute cross-functional initiatives.

The SVP, Global Marketing Operations is responsible for:

    Driving comprehensive operational controls & team process oversight
    Tracking of key GCM initiatives & investments, along with their progress against key milestones, as well as documenting and escalating risks & issues. Developing expertise in core disciplines of Brand      Insights, Advertising, Media, Social & Content, Entertainment & Experiential Marketing, and Agency/Partner management.
    Overseeing efficient and compliant execution of key global marketing initiatives.  

This involves:

    Serving as the key point person and SME on areas such as compliance, third party management, risk assessments, and continuity of business
    Ensuring GCM fully documents and monitors critical processes  
    Working closely with Compliance & Legal to maintain a global consumer marketing regulation & internal requirements inventory; socialize requirements within the team and across partners  
    Identifying efficiency opportunities within existing team processes, including vendor management, business & financial approvals
    Leading communications initiatives within the GCM organization
    Assisting with Global Marketing routines across the 700+ members of the GCB Marketing Community, coordinating communications and recurring forums
    Amplify GCM’s marketing best practice perspective by leading internal newsletters and media, in partnership with communications & public affairs partners
     Promote thought leadership within the Global Marketing community by coordinating content & best practice exchanges and global partner summits
    Manage agenda and execution of town halls and team meeting routines
    Fostering talent development & positive working culture
    Serve as VOE champion along with internal partners, driving superior employee engagement; partner with brand & marketing leaders to drive brand ambassadorship within GCM    
    Lead initiatives around team training, talent development and rewards & recognition
    Lead efforts around GCM recruiting

Performance Objectives:
Keys to Success:  A successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record of managing disparate workstreams, efficient execution of global initiatives, and partnership with diverse cross-functional and global partners.  In addition, this individual will have skill in uncovering and sharing best practices and standards, and a passion for building high-performing teams.

    10-15+ years of work experience, preferably in financial services
    Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desirable
    Experience in process improvement, compliance/controls and project management preferred
    Outstanding organizational skills and time management;
    Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
    Able to successfully navigate and build relationships in matrixed organizations
