Global Bayer Digital Discipline Lead

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with Global and key Market Client and Agency teams to develop and implement cohesive digital strategies across a portfolio of Global brands; ensuring as consistent approach to delivery that is flexible enough to address the unique challenges for each brand and covering for example…
  • Lead execution of local-market digital work based on scope of services, particularly within US brand portfolio.  Core elements will include
    • Consumer journey planning & digital ecosystem definition
    • Digital and Social Video
    • Content marketing
    • Social
    • Application of a complete range of data types across the consumer experience, CRM
    • Programmatic and Performance marketing
    • Digital and mobileexperiences
  • Help to create and educate the global hub markets so that they are prepared to adopt Global Digital Brand Strategy and applying it across the consumer journey
  • Work with BBDO CIO and Proximity Global to identify best resources in the BBDO and Proximity networks to address and deliver against Bayer’s evolving digital needs
  • Partner with the Global Account Team to ensure the appropriate resources and integration of digital resources for successful execution of digital work across a range of programming types
  • Guide the development of KPIs to track digital performance, impact on brand businesses and help demonstrate Agency digital marketing value
  • Serve as a thought leader within the digital space, able to partner and inspire key digital leadership at a Global and regional level



  • Leading the development of Global Digital Strategies across key global brands
  • Overseeing implementation of the Global Digital Strategies through assigned lead markets
  • Leading teams in execution of select local-market digital deliverables across all consumer digital touchpoints
  • Facilitating global deployment and expansion of client brand digital marketing through the creation of digital toolkits
