CTI Product Management – Application Hosting is seeking a leader that is a strategic thinker with strong execution skills.   Experience in analyzing, reconciling, communicating, financial planning and budget processes is preferred. The responsibilities of a Product Manager are to be accountable for the products CTI provides at all stages of the lifecycle which includes development, launch, build, maintain and operate, aligned to Citi’s global business strategy and delivered with the right technology, the right service model and the right economics

- Define and evolve cloud native infrastructure platforms (internal and external hosting) and services in detail (i.e., service levels and unit cost) including rules of engagement.
- Work across all functional teams to define products and services that are aligned with and delivered to the business needs.
- Drive product performance across all dimensions, including quality, service, support and cost and fund the development of new product offerings from CTI.
- Ensure new products are market-competitive, standardized, supportable, and can be built repeatedly.  
- Ensure service management and end-to-end service level improvement of product delivery by holding build and operating teams accountable to performance standards.  
- Provide business leadership to products and serve as the technical point of contact for the new product/technology.
- Work closely with CTI’s client service delivery teams and clients to align CTI’s products and delivery to enable Citi’s global business strategy.
- Review and monitor the key performance indicators across product offerings.  
- Chair product virtual cross-discipline teams to bring appropriate focus to the cost, performance, supply, adoption and demand of product offerings.  

Specific Responsibilities to Include (but not limited to):

- Define and evolve infrastructure platforms (e.g., server farm, storage) and services in detail (i.e., service levels and unit cost) and rules of engagement
- Work with Product Engineering, Build and Ops to operationalize the infrastructure platforms and services
- Define and manage end-to-end unit cost and SLAs of infrastructure platforms and services
- Develop infrastructure strategy and conduct technology planning
- Manage lifecycle of Infrastructure platforms and services
- Interact with Sector IT to collect app needs (e.g., projected business demand) and feedback on the infrastructure platform and service catalog, SLAs and cost
- Interact with Business Service Management to collect app requirements and inputs on evolution of infrastructure platform/service catalog based on customer needs
- Interact with Solutioning to collect inputs on evolution of infrastructure platform and service catalog based on app needs
- Interact with Operational groups (i.e., Build, Run) and Product Engineering to align on SLAs and costs associated with the defined infrastructure platforms and services; operationalize infrastructure platforms and services
- Chargeback and Rate Card Planning, and Annual Budgeting in conjunction with Financial Control

- Working knowledge of cloud native infrastructure and application architecture
- Strong understanding of application release automation processes and solutions.  
- Basic understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions. For example Cloud Foundry and OpenShift
- Strong understanding of services offered by external providers
- Basic understanding of application middleware components and their roles.
- Good balance of business and technical skills – customer centric
- Ability to conceptualize and manage products with a commercial mindset (e.g., keep competitive with market offerings, drive toward continuous improvement, address internal performance gaps)
- Ability to manage product roll-out process from conception through final operationalization
- Strong understanding of technology and industry trends for infrastructure solutions
- Strong technical understanding of Infrastructure platforms and products
- Strong understanding of IT economics
- Ability to engage with a broad range of staff from front-line architects and operations staff to high-level business users
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal clients through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting)
- Strong Financial/Technology/Business Financial Knowledge
- Demonstrate success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under strict time restraints.  
- Demonstrate project management experience and detailed knowledge of products, risks, processes, and client base
- Working knowledge of Citigroup, the financial services industry and financial products
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.


- Understanding of external cloud services and offerings (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google)
- Basic knowledge of container and micro service platforms
- BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience (MBA preferred)
- Good balance of business and technical skills (customer centric)
- Excellent communication skills, excellent organizational ability
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working with critical deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal clients through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting)
- Willingness to stay on the leading edge of technology by learning new techniques
- Demonstrate project management experience and understanding of, or ability to learn about products, risks, processes, and client base
- Advanced Skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
