The Sustaining Engineering Team is looking for a Java engineer with current skills in Java Enterprise, SQL, database management, ETL and high-volume, data-based applications.  You will be working on team responsible for providing technical support for our security products.  This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, plus analytical, solving, verbal and written communications skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Use innovative and creative approaches for triaging customer issues
  • Drive improvement in sustaining processes


  • Experience with and passion for automation and automation tools
  • Basic troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Experience analyzing Java heap dumps
  • Solid understanding of:
    • JMX, Concurrency APIs, JAXB
    • JAX-WS, JAX-RS
    • ETL
    • Jasper Reports
    • Swing or SWT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Core Java platform - Generics, Annotations, Collections framework
  • Java Enterprise - JPA, JDBC, JMS, EJB, RMI, and Servlets
  • XML and related technologies (e.g. XMLSchema, WSDL)
  • REACT and Node.js
  • Strong SQL skills
