Houston Methodist Hospital System (HMHS) is seeking nominations for candidates to serve as the Surgical Director of the Houston Methodist Cancer Center (HMCC). The successful candidate will be an accomplished academic surgeon with a strong record of clinical excellence in a discipline of surgical oncology and will have a record of high quality scholarship in cancer related basic science, translational or clinical research. Candidates must have evidence of academic qualifications for appointment as Associate or Full Professor of Surgery, a strong commitment to education, and prior leadership experience in academic institutions and national professional organizations. The position would be awarded resources sufficient for recruitment of additional faculty to join a highly productive team of surgeons dedicated to cancer.
