The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Support Services Functional Engagement Leader to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

As part of the Information Technology 2CES Product Support Services Team, this position provides business capability leadership for the Engineering Modifications and Maintenance (EMM) portfolio of Product Systems IT applications. Working closely with IT Business Partners, Product Systems software delivery organizations, and direct business product owners, this role supports activities including:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define, analyze, document, and prioritize high to mid-level system requirements to support business objectives
  • Support finance/performance status visibility inside Product Systems and outside to IT Business Partners or the Business
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of capability requirements and expectations across your application portfolio
  • Create and maintain system consolidation and go-forward roadmaps, including alignment to 2nd Century systems
  • Identify opportunities for step function improvement in Product Support enabled by PLM, MOM, and business process transformation
  • Assess and sponsor statement of work requests to internal Product Systems governance boards
  • Support the creation of Long Range Business Plan in coordination with Portfolio Management, Technology Strategy, Program Execution
  • Build teams Supports operations, including maintenance repair, line maintenance, repair parts, customer-furnished equipment tracking, parts acquisition and sustainment parts
  • Enables creation and revision of technical product data to support maintenance and repair of military and commercial platforms
  • Respond to ad-hoc product workshops, LRBP adjustment exercises, and other data calls which impact your product portfolio in order to protect Build teams from non-development activities
  • Integrated Logistics: Provides applications that enable users to plansupport throughout the product life cycle, including support system affordability, maintenance transition, site-activation planning, development of product support requirements and support-system configuration
  • Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Execution: Supports operations, including maintenance repair, line maintenance, repair parts, customer-furnished equipment tracking, parts acquisition and sustainment parts

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with project management and/or program management
  • 3+ years experience creating and revising technical product data
  • 3+ years experience with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Execution


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software development life cycle
  • Experience with current/future IT architecture (including cloud computing)

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A technical degree is defined as any four yeardegree, or greater, in a mathematics, scientific or information technology field of study
