Job Overview

Become a part of the 5G NR commercialization team to support the next wave of NR 5G Products (Smartphones, CPE, IOT etc.). As a member of Qualcomm Modem SW Customer Engineering group, candidate will be responsible for supporting NR 5G latest technological features (Sub6 and mmWave, Non-standalone and standalone modes) and other modem commercialization issues. Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline internal teams for lab support activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidate should be motivated to learn, eager to debug and resolve issues, have a customer mindset, and be interested in wireless technologies. In this position, Individual will be responsible to work on various test equipment, reproduce and debug lab test cases on QC reference platform or customer devices, engage with customers as required.

Build loading, calibration and troubleshooting device camping issues for CE team

Assist in lab testing, issues reproduction on day to day basis

Work with Test Equipment team on test box calibration, logistics

Upgrade test equipment SW periodically

All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in an engineering lab.

Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand wireless devices, build loading procedures, and apply trouble shooting concepts and problem solving skills.

Ability to work with common test equipment (Keysight, Anritsu, R&S, etc.)

Knowledge in conformance test case execution is preferred with some experience in troubleshooting test systems and/or scripts.

It is important the candidate has ability to communicate technical understandings and project status clearly.

Education Requirements High School Diploma Required; Associates in Electronics Preferred
