The Manager | Senior Manager of Supply Operations will be responsible for management of global, clinical supply. Includes oversight of CMO scheduling (international & domestic production/packaging planning), companion and comparator drug sourcing, analysis and reporting of production performance, analysis of clinical supply/demand trends, and creation and implementation of product packaging.
Responsible for advanced, complex, clinical supply planning and issue resolution. Expected to have extensive knowledge across many functional areas and resources related to global clinical supply operations. Works closely with all internal and external resources to optimize clinical supply availability and inventory investment.
Duties and responsibilities
•Collect and analyze inventory information from packaging and labeling CMOs and Storage facilities for the planning of clinical drug product.
•Assist with the lot information and tracking of inventory by study by country.
•Monitor the inventories of clinical product, including companion/comparator drug at the Depots.
•Prepare and distribute periodic status reports on clinical drug product inventories, and planned production.
•Provides timely and accurate clinical inventory information to the required systems.
•Assist in the maintenance of the IRT/RTSM clinical supply plans.
•Participate in the Clinical Operations Program teams and provide periodic clinical supply updates.
•Develop and communicate accurate lead time requirements to Alpine’s packaging/distribution vendors as well as the internal CMC and Clinical Operations teams as required.
•Acts as point of contact for the packaging and label CMOs, and third party vendors.
•BS/BA Degree in a business field and/or a minimum of up to 5 years of product/clinical supply or manufacturing operations experience.
•Minimum of 5 years planning experience within a manufacturing environment with 3 years being in a pharmaceutical industry setting.
•Experience in an FDA regulated environment.
•Excellent verbal and technical written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills are essential.
•Experience working with an enterprise level planning system (ERP)
