Job Summary

Responsible for development, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the MMIS systems. Serves as a technical point of contact for all levels and groups within the organization. Ensures data integrity, tests system changes, writes reports, and analyzes data flow for process improvement opportunities. Performs analysis on usage and expense to support SCA team. Leads various Supply Chain process improvement and systems implementation projects comprised of large multifunctional teams, introduces best practice in Supply Chain technology, recognizing gaps in process and/or current capabilities, and works with Supply Chain Leaders and others to structure effective solutions. Creates strategies as well as tactical planning around the implementation of process and technology changes. Works with the IT team and internal/external customers to implement systems which provide process improvement through automation and data availability.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree required.
  • 7 years of experience in MMIS management (implementing, maintaining, & supporting MMIS systems).
  • Advanced MS Office skills, specifically in Excel.
  • 5 years of experience in other related Supply Chain systems (MD Buyline, Surgical Compass, or GHX).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis on usage and expense to support SCA team.
  • Leads various process improvement and systems implementation projects comprised of large multifunctional teams.
  • Introduces best practice in technology, recognizing gaps in process, and/or current capabilities. Works with Leaders, team members, and IT to structure effective solutions.
  • Creates strategies as well as tactical planning around the implementation of process and technology changes.
  • Works with the IT team and internal/external customers to implement systems which provide process improvement through automation and data availability.
  • Manages all weekly, month end, and year end closing activities.
  • Gathers, extracts, manipulates, analyzes, and models data using analytical and statistical tools.
  • Provides data and statistical analysis to identify, qualify, and quantify performance measures from multiple data bases.
  • Builds proficiency in all Supply Chain applications and serves as a business owner for area of expertise.
