This role will drive design for manufacturing activities for New Product Introductions. They will also work closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions to develop and support new products for these markets. They will ensure that new products are designed and launched with best in class manufacturing costs and quality performance. 

You will be given the opportunity to take your proven experience and: 

? Identify cost reduction opportunities for new technologies and products, suggesting design changes to minimize internal and external manufacturing costs, reduce manufacturing complexity and conversion cost. 

? Ensure that all new products and existing products achieve their cost and quality targets, as defined by the marketing requirements document 

? Define core/non-core manufacturing strategy for new product designs, leading the make versus buy process. 

?Partnership with product engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing operations to secure manufacturing readiness on the new developments. 

?Support product engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing operations to addressing manufacturing, quality, and costs issues for products in production 

You Must Have: 

?Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing Engineering 

? Minimum of 8years applicable experience in Manufacturing process or Product Engineering

? Master Degree a plus 

? Knowledge of automotive or consumer electronics design-to-cost and quality processes 

? Previous experience in leading a project 

? Well organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel 

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

? Responsive and responsible to deliver on commitments. 

? Motivates and influences others, promoting self-learning and continuous improvement 

?Six Sigma training (black belt a plus)
