The transformation and governance team is responsible for developing strategy, driving transformational initiatives and providing operational governance for the Supply Chain and Procurement organization. The Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy role will lead strategic projects aligned with corporate priorities and formulate them into an actionable roadmap with measurable performance results. The role will collaborate with cross-functional and business leaders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Product and Sales, IT, and Business Development.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop supply chain and procurement strategy in several areas including: Network Design and Optimization, Partner Strategy, Mergers/Acquisitions/Divestitures, Services and Software Supply Chain, Organization Maturity, and Digital Transformation
  • Identify and prioritize strategic and process improvement projects and create a roadmap for execution
  • Develop organization goals and metrics to align with company priorities and industry practices
  • Support business case and requirements development for identified projects
  • Benchmark best practices and key performance indicators and incorporate into the strategy
  • Develop plans to meet changing regulatory requirements
  • Establish an organization risk framework and ensure processes are in place to mitigate
  • Research market intelligence, synthesize information on macroeconomic trends, supply, pricing, and present to leadership teams
  • Support various business operations activities from senior leadership


  • Competency in developing business analysis and strategy formulation
  • Experience with project management, process improvement, and change management
  • Understanding of digital transformation and technology applications including robotics, IoT, Advanced Analytics, Cloud Computing, AI, Blockchain
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and engage with senior leaders in addressing complex business issues
  • Lead through influence management across diverse functions and regions
  • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes and technology across source to pay, quote to order, and demand to deliver
  • A combination of analytic rigor, conceptual ability, creativity, intellectual curiosity and judgment by turning data into insights
  • Someone who deals effectively with ambiguity and strategic issues, as well as the detailed tactical activity involved in driving change
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be proactive, self-starter who takes initiative
  • Collaborative, high energy individual
  • Supply Chain or Procurement Certifications a plus

Basic Requirements

  • A 4-year bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering discipline
  • 8+ years experience in supply chain, procurement, management consulting or business development
  • Operations research expertise a plus
  • Business, Financial and Technical Acumen
