Supplier Manager

Job Description:

The Supplier Manager will be responsible for managing a new license business sector comprised of either an individual client or a group of manufacturers.  Average sector size will be 1-8 clients with combined revenue of $40M.  The SM will formulate an overall sector growth strategy; manage client relationships up to manager level and all underlying business transactions. 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sector business plan to align immixGroup’s resources to your client’s business priorities – all focused on growth
  • Cultivate relationships with client’s sales teams, executive sales management, managers of operations and legal, etc. and higher level government personnel
  • Develop and implement client specific sales activities, leveraging your sales team to find new leads and opportunities
  • Ensure team pipeline development and management, forecasting and driving top opportunities (over $250K top line) to closure
  • Lead, as required, client tradeshows or conferences to identify new opportunities / leads
  • Lead new sector client kickoff meetings
  • Responsible for complex negotiations of government contract vehicles (BPA’s, multi-year vehicles)  and positions appropriate contract strategy for closing higher value / complex technology agreements
  • Serves as first line of support to the team for operational and customer/client issues
  • Drives team to meet or exceed revenue quota
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years inside sales experience selling technology products
  • 3 - 4 years specific sales experience successfully selling technology products to the public sector
  • Preferredexperience with products and/or vendors within immixGroup’s portfolio as well as sales leadership
