Ensures benefit plans are in compliance in accordance with plan documents, regulations and legislation.
Prepares materials (written documents, presentations, etc.) and/or review and provide input on communications drafted by others relating to employee benefit plans.
Prepares and/or provides input on communications to employee about changes in benefits plans due to statutory or plan design changes and to market the value of our plans.
Ensures benefit plan documents are up to date for all benefit plans (retirement, health care, welfare plans, flexible spending, etc.)
Administers HIPAA Privacy and Security plans and ensure compliance by company locations and subsidiaries. Including providing education to employees and implementation and monitoring compliance by location and subsidiaries.
Assists in performing due diligence on acquisition targets and in implementation of employee benefit programs after purchase.
5+ years of experience in a salaried human resources role.
Experience in employee benefit compliance and/or program administration.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
A strong pattern of initiative, achievement, and leadership.
Proven problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
