Prepares monthly Statement of Cash Flows, as well as cash flow forecasts and analysis.
Assists in the preparation of financialreports including the monthly internal financial statements, monthly presentation materials for close meetings with management, as well as quarterly reporting packages to Parent company to enable preparation of SEC reports.
Analyzes monthly financial results to help provide an understanding and explanation of variances.
Compiles current period forecast for management and 18 month forecast for Parent company on a monthly basis.
Develops consolidated annual budget with inputs from operating units and other departments, prepares budget analysis and presentation materials for review with senior management.
Provides support for internal and external audit requests.
Heads the Policy Update Committee to ensure timely updates to Policies & Procedures and compliance with standards.
Oversees compliance of key controls performed at headquarters.
Lead technical accounting research projects where necessary and/or work with Parent company to assist with implementation of newly issued accounting standards.
Looks for opportunities to automate, refine and continuously improve reporting, tools and processes.
Performs ad hoc financial analysis as required for senior management, including but not limited to developing or testing new reports, schedules, or creating methodologies to appropriately review and/or forecast certain activity.
Direct supervision of one staff member.
BA/BS degree or higher in accounting or financepreferred
5+ years in accounting or finance with business unit and corporate experience.
2+ years public accounting experiencepreferred.
CPA and manufacturing industry experience desirable.
Must have high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, solid organizational and time management skills.
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (i.e. macros, pivot tables, etc.) and other Microsoft Office products required.
Experience with SAP and Hyperion (HFM, Essbase) desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and interact with operating units, other departments and senior management.
Experience in a supervisory role strongly preferred.
