Schedule, coordinate and supervise subcontractors and employee activities to ensure a successful project as measured by standards for project assigned. Schedule delivery of materials, receive, verify and store materials delivered to job.
HOURS OF WORK
Base hours 7:00AM – 5:00 or 6:00PM, Monday – Friday with rotating weekend work as needed. Additional hours worked may be required due to project demands. This is a supervisory position and as such, this position is exempt from overtime. Anticipate early morning, evening and weekend work on an as-required basis.

Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendent and/or subcontractor activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary utility sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
Responsible for coordinating assigned work with different subcontractors.
Monitor work performance and productivity of employees and subcontractors to ensure project rules, procedures, schedule, safety requirements, etc. are maintained.
Resolve construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.
Advise project manager of potential problems, work interferences, scheduling difficulties, etc.; resolving such problems as required with the help of the Project Manager.
Maintain liaison with owner, architect, other engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
Maintain quality control to ensure all required materials; equipment inspections, support craft activities and project schedule are within expected time frame.
Review and approve petty cash reimbursements, supplier invoices, and time sheets.
Prepare or review field documents as required including as-built documents, closeout paperwork, daily reports, reports of additional work performed.
Ensure opening and securing of project site each day.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Ensure security is established and maintained (i.e. proper lighting, weather protection, etc).
Keep all unauthorized personnel and unnecessary vehicles off the job site and out of the staging areas.
Inspect construction for code compliance.
Maintain constructionschedule. Coordinate inspections, obtain approvals from building department and government agencies, resolve issues with inspectors, interface with utility companies to obtain services, coordinate connection and obtain approvals.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Educational and experience requirements include: 10 years constructionexperience or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in a supervisory capacity including similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures required. Advanced and working knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, ability to control and supervise large groups essential. Ability to work with various construction disciplines, thorough knowledge of safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required.

The client is seeking candidates who have worked from the stage of clearing the land for construction all the way through turning over a finished construction project to the owner of the property.
This is a full-cycle construction supervisory role. Candidates must have this background outlined on the resume. Florida code requires the first floor or so to be masonry.
Must have intermediate knowledge of the following; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project. Prolog experiencepreferred but not required.
This position reports to the General Superintendent and will have daily contact with General Superintendent(s), project managers, field support staff, project accountants, clients and subcontractors. Must be courteous, professional, discrete, and diplomatic with all contacts.
