Summary of Position:
Responsible for field operations on the project assigned in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The Superintendent directly supervises field labor force, including laborers/craft workers. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. Position will ensure that work progresses according to schedule and that material and equipment are delivered to the work site on time. Assist in bidding opportunities and preconstruction services by performing constructability reviews and providing input on costs, scheduling and pre-planning. Responsible for communication to Project Mangers, internal and external clients and labor force. Manage CPM schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of schedule. Prepare and submit reports, attend project meetings and coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. Monitor project costs, including labor time and material. Code and approve invoices and assist in review of pay requests with Project Manager.
