This position is in the Acquisition Division’s Enterprise & Non-Flight R&D Section. Specifically, this position is for the Non-Flight R&D Group. In the Non-Flight R&D Group, we work on technology development, prototype design/build, independent research and development efforts, and work on specialized agreements, such as Strategic Partnership Projects (SPP), Cost Reimbursement with Government Agencies (CRGA), and Funds in Agreement (FIA).
As a Subcontracts Manager, you will be responsible for being the acquisition point-of-contact formulating innovative acquisition strategies to ensure JPL’s success as the leading U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system. You will be responsible for managing the subcontract process from beginning to end. This includes market research to identify potential sources, drafting, soliciting, selecting, awarding, and managing many subcontract types.
