Responsible for the creation and execution of ANSYS FEA models of gas turbine parts. Post processing results to ensure deflections, fatigue life, crack growth and frequencies are within margins.
5 or more years experience conducting finite element structural analysis of complex structures. Define testing and analyze results.
Proficiency with ANSYS FEA package required
Candidate must be eligible to pursue a US security clearance.
Experience in design or analysis of gas turbine engine hardware is a plus
Candidate must have demonstrated strong teaming and communication skills.
Be proficient with MS office (excel, power-point, word), familiarity with UG NX CAD package a plus
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering is required.
