Job Description:
GEI's Northeast U.S. coastal waterfront practice is growing and we are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Portland Maine office. Candidate would also provide support to GEI’s Waterfront Division in the Franklin Massachusetts office. This individual will assist with design, permitting, field investigation, inspection, and construction observation of waterfront projects such as piers, docks, marinas, wharves, bulkheads, retaining walls, dredging, boat ramps and slope stabilization. Strong design experience with timber, steel and concrete is desired as well as a working knowledge of geotechnical engineering to assist in the design of soil/structure interaction elements. The selected candidate will work with senior leadership in GEI’s Portland Maine office and elsewhere.
