Our Phoenix office is currently seeking a full-time Structural/Bridge Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design projects and performing complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who enjoys being part of a team including Albuquerque and other offices.
Regular job duties include design and detailing concrete and steel girder bridges, retaining walls, cast-in-place concrete structures, and structural field inspection. Candidate must be able to perform complex engineering tasks accurately, extract engineering information from CAD drawings, complete a variety of assignments such as developing drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. The successful candidate will generally be responsible for structural tasks within Arizona projects, and will support projects managed in other offices. To be considered, the candidate must have the following qualifications:
Working knowledge and skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office software, and a variety of structural engineering analysis and design software including but not limited to SAP2000, CSiBridge or Midas Civil, Mathcad, MDX, Leap Bridge Concrete (CONSPAN), RC-Pier, and LPile.
- Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in structural/bridge design
- Masters degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
-Professional Engineer License in AZ (or can be registered in AZ within 6 months)
