The Stitch Fix Strategy team works directly with the C-Level and VP leadership team to shape and drive against our company vision and strategic growth plan. As a member of this dynamic and talented team you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging business problems, drive change and innovation within the organization, and work alongside and learn from the exceptionally talented individuals and teams at Stitch Fix. This position will focus on the development and execution of the Merchandising strategy & support key company strategic priorities. This role will work closely with the Merchandising leadership team and other executive team members along with cross functional partners across marketing, algorithms, product & operations.
YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS ROLE BECAUSE YOU WILL:
- Work closely with our Merchandising leadership team to identify, scope, and mobilize teams against our merchandising strategic priorities, and support through to execution
- Design and execute analyses to test business hypotheses and synthesize results into practical solutions and business strategies
- Communicate strategic recommendations and use influence to gain support from senior leadership and drive alignment within the organization
- Structure project workplans and develop roadmaps with cross-functional partners to support the execution and implementation of strategic recommendations
- Mentor and develop talent within the Strategy & Merchandising teams
WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE:
- You have a Bachelor's degree (required) and an MBA (preferred)
- You have 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in strategy or consulting. Merchandising/operational experience is a plus but not required
- You are a strategic problem solver with the proven ability to structure a data-driven approach to complex business problems
- You are a focused, organized, and results-driven individual with the discipline and gravitas to drive a diverse set of cross-functional partners towards a set of defined goals
- You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver and have a high level of accountability
- You have strong communication skills and are able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
- You have a passion for a vibrant company culture committed to being Bright, Kind and Motivated By Challenge
- You have expertise in Powerpoint / Google Slides / Excel
- You are able to work full time out of our headquarters based in San Francisco, CA (after current shelter in place orders are lifted and it is safe to work from our office)
