The Strategic Sales Executive is a member of the company’s sales team and is responsible for the management of assigned accounts, developing new customers, and driving sales of new products and solutions. The Strategic Sales Executive will develop long-term relationships with potential and existing customers, connecting with executives and stakeholders.  The Strategic Sales Executive will liaise between the customer and a cross-functional internal team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our proposals and solutions according to customer needs.  The Strategic Sales Executive is responsible for the sales function, including order booking, contract negotiations, market analysis, pricing, and assistance in developing the business strategy.


Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned international accounts

Prospect, analyze and identify appropriate market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s existing and new product and integration offerings. Will include cold calling and growing, maintaining, and leveraging a strong industry network, as well as attending industry functions and conferences

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and implement strategies for expanding the company’s product and integration offerings

Identify decision makers within the customer organization and develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders, influencers, and executive sponsors

Develop pricing policies for customers by understanding market trends

Generate proposals that incorporate benefits, pricing, and schedule that meets the customers’ expectations and Company's ability to deliver. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of proposals according to customer needs

Work with the company’s Estimating, Engineering and Production departments to manage the proposal process and assist to streamline the process

Communicate clearly the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

Accurately forecast and track key account metrics, using company tools

Understand the company’s products and solutions and be able to clearly present value to all customers

Negotiation and close contracts including pricing, payment terms, schedule, and terms and conditions


Minimum of 5years' experience in engineering / engineering services, construction, or material handling industry

Bachelor’s degreerequired

Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers and executive level personnel

Ability to work collaborativelywith colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment

Ability to work from home office or if preferred, candidate can relocate to Midwest Headquarters. Ability to travel40%.
